BREAKING: CHARTERS DIE IN MS HOUSE COMMITTEE

The charter schools bill has officially died in the Mississippi House of Representatives Education Committee.

Now let’s begin a grassroots, realistic education reform movement that begins with you and me going to a public school and asking a teacher or principal “How can I help you?”

UPDATE 4/4: Governor Phil Bryant is considering a special session to continue the charter school debate. Back to square one.

Please let Governor Bryant know that more of our children will benefit from strengthening all of our existing public schools than will from the creation of separate schools. Please ask the Governor why we cannot set up ALL schools to succeed?
